We provide evidence-based psychological assessment and support for learners and families, emphasizing practical outcomes, emotional wellbeing, and coordinated care alongside ABA Therapy and school supports. Our team of Autism Intervention Specialists is dedicated to delivering effective behavior support tailored to individual needs.
ABA therapy is an evidence-based approach that may be part of a coordinated plan when a Learner benefits from structured skill teaching and behavior support. When ABA is recommended, our psychology team collaborates with the ABA clinical team and school supports to align goals, ensure consistency, and monitor progress using measurable outcomes.
ABA treatment recommendations are individualized, measurable, and designed to be implemented by caregivers and school teams. Autism Intervention Specialists provides behavior support strategies with clear teaching steps, data-based monitoring, and coordination across settings.
We start with an intake to understand concerns, developmental history, strengths, and current challenges across home and school. The licensed psychologist clarifies priorities and explains the assessment and support plan.
When assessment is indicated, we select appropriate tools and direct observation methods. Goals are set to be observable and measurable, then translated into practical recommendations for caregivers and school teams.
Based on findings, we provide psychology supports such as coping skills, emotion regulation strategies, and parent coaching aligned with routines and values. Families receive clear steps to use in daily situations, with follow-up to refine strategies.
When ABA therapy or school supports are recommended, we coordinate with the ABA clinical team and educators to align goals and ensure consistency across settings. Recommendations are updated based on progress and practical fit.

Psychology often targets emotional wellbeing, coping skills, and broader clinical formulation. ABA focuses on observable behavior change through teaching and reinforcement. Many Learners benefit from coordinated care when goals overlap.
AIS supports inclusion by building skills that help the Learner participate meaningfully in school, home, and community routines. We collaborate with caregivers and educators to remove barriers, teach practical replacement skills and independence, and monitor progress with measurable goals. Supports are adjusted and gradually faded as the Learner becomes more successful across settings.
