The International Behavior Analyst Organization (IBAO) requires all credentialed practitioners to complete a set number of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) during each recertification cycle. Corrective Feedback That Changes Practice
Feedback only matters if it changes what happens next. This course teaches a six-step conversation organiser — Prepare, Describe, Check perspective, Specify action, Rehearse, Review — alongside realistic supervision scenarios covering recording errors, defensiveness, missed coaching meetings, and supervisor errors. You also learn to read performance data and select a next step without overstating causality or mastery.
You're Already Using Negative Reinforcement
Negative reinforcement operates in ABA far more often than many practitioners realise — not only in escape-maintained behaviour, but in FCT, demand fading, therapist behaviour, caregiver responses, and everyday clinical decisions. This course moves beyond the exam definition to help you recognise negative reinforcement in practice, identify when avoidance is adaptive, and spot when staff or caregiver behaviour is being shaped by the learner.
