How ABA Works at AIS

A structured process that stays individualized, measurable, and practical.

1) Intake and history review

We clarify priorities and current challenges across settings.

2) Assessment and baseline

We measure skills and behavior to guide treatment.

3) Individualized plan and goals

Targets focus on communication, independence, and behavior support.

4) Direct therapy and caregiver coaching

Teaching happens in real routines with planned prompting and reinforcement.

5) BCBA supervision and data review

Programs are adjusted based on progress, not guesswork.

6) Generalization across settings

Skills are practiced at home, center, and school when relevant.

Frequently Asked Questions

AIS supports Early Learners through school-age Learners. Recommendations are individualized based on the Learner’s needs, setting, and goals identified during intake.

AIS offers a range of assessments, including academic assessments, behavioral assessments, and functional assessments, to identify strengths and areas for improvement.

AIS believes that all individuals should have the opportunity to learn and grow in inclusive environments. We work collaboratively with schools and other community organizations to promote inclusion and provide support for individuals with special needs.

Hours are individualized. After intake and clinical review, we recommend an intensity that matches the Learner’s priorities, setting needs, and availability, then adjust based on progress data.

Caregiver coaching is included to support carryover and generalization. We teach practical strategies, provide guided practice when appropriate, and align home routines with treatment goals.

No. While many of the Learners we support have an autism diagnosis, ABA is also effective for a range of developmental delays and behavior challenges. AIS supports Learners with communication delays, adaptive skill needs, learning readiness challenges, and target behaviors that interfere with home or school routines, including Learners without a formal diagnosis when support is clinically indicated.
