Clinical Director
Bahij Khouzami is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a CDA-licensed clinician in Dubai. He provides clinical leadership at Autism Intervention Specialists, overseeing program design, supervision, and data review across center, home, and school-based services. He stays directly involved in the cases he oversees, so the clinician who designs the program is the same one reviewing the data and sitting with the family.
He holds a Master of Education in Behavior Analysis from Cambridge College in Boston, Massachusetts, and serves as a Professor of Applied Behavior Analysis at Greenfort University in Orlando, Florida. He is also a Professional Advisory Board Member for the International Behavior Analyst Organization (IBAO) in the UAE.
Families are treated as part of the treatment team rather than observers. Parents are taught the same procedures their Learner's therapists use, given written guidance they can follow at home, and told directly when the data indicate a change. Questions between sessions are answered quickly, not held for the next scheduled meeting.
Treatment at AIS is individualized and measurable. Programs are built from direct assessment, monitored through ongoing data collection, and adjusted when the data indicate a change is needed.
